This Thursday the Prince George public library will be hosting “Read Dating”, speed dating with a literary twist.
“Everyone is expected to bring a book, magazine, DVD, graphic novel or any library material to act as a conversation starter” says library communications officer Andrea Palmer “It’s a great way for single people to meet each other, but it’s a really low pressure fun event. People usually have a lot of fun with the books they choose.”
Palmer says the event is always very popular, but this time around they have a bit of a problem,
“We need a few good men at the library…Right now we’ve got a lot of great intrepid women signed up, and only a few men. So if we are going to go ahead and host this event, we really need to get some men signed up.”
