15th Junk in the Trunk to take place this weekend

Looking for that perfect little new knick-knack?

REAPS will be putting on one of Prince George’s largest garage sales this weekend, which also comes as October is waste reduction month.

“This is our 15th event,” Terri McClymont, Executive Director for REAPS, told MyPGNow. “Junk in the Trunk gives 125 vendors the opportunity to bring all their items they no longer wish and give them a second chance or repurposed.”

The event is completely sold out for their vendor spaces and is expected to see approximately 3,000 to 4,000 shoppers roll through.

With the number of events already being held in the past, MyPGNow took the time to ask what might be the craziest item she’s seen up for sale at Junk in the Trunk.

Her answer?

“Toilets.”

The event will be taking place from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
