Exploration Place volunteer receives award

Long-time volunteer at the Exploration Place Dr. Todd Whitcombe received the Museum Service and Stewardship Award from the BC Museums Association.

The awards were handed out last week in the northern capital.

Exploration Place Curator Alyssa Leier recently spoke with MyPGNow.com.

“It recognizes outstanding effort and contribution over an extended period of an individual that has donated funds or services or just their time at a museum or gallery.”

Whitcombe is also the chair of the chemistry and environmental science and engineering program at UNBC.
