Trio arrested in relation to ongoing drug trafficking investigation

A series of search warrants were recently executed by Prince George RCMP.

On Thursday, October 24, 2019, the Prince George Street Crew Unit executed five search warrants as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation in the Prince George area. The Street Crew unit was assisted by the Detachment’s Serious Crimes Section and Police Dog Service, as well as the North District RCMP’s Emergency Response Team and the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of BC.

The warrants were executed at residences on Lyon Street, Conveyor Street, Simpson Road and Isle Pierre Road, as well as a storage unit along the Hart Highway. During the searches, a significant quantity of cocaine and nearly $15,000 in cash was seized.

A 54-year-old male, 49-year-old male and a 50-year-old female were arrested at the time of the searches. All were released pending further investigation and consideration for charge approval.
