Starting tomorrow (Thursday), crews with the City of Prince George will begin seasonal closures at select parks and outdoor civic facilities.
According to a media release from the City, the gates at the entrances to Connaught Hill and Nechako Riverside Parks will be closed to vehicular traffic.
Crews are also in the process of shutting down for the season the outdoor public washrooms at Duchess and Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Parks.
Masich Place Stadium will continue to be staffed and in use for a few more weeks. The final sporting event will be played on the field on November 14. The track will remain open to the public through November 15th and closed the following day (November 16).
All parks and public washrooms will re-open in the spring on a weather-dependent basis.
