RCMP requests public’s help finding person not seen in a month

The Prince George RCMP are requesting the public’s help in locating a missing person that has not been seen in over a month.

On October 8, 2019, the Prince George RCMP received a report of a missing person, 23-year-old Tammy Leah Ann Alexis of Prince George. Tammy was last seen in Prince George on September 22, 2019.

Cpl. Craig Douglass states that there are many steps that are taken by police before asking for the public’s assistance.

“Every investigation is different and it just depends on where that goes. Parts of that are checks with family, banking checks, anywhere that she may frequent. Depending on that person and what their habits are, it may take longer than others.”

Efforts to locate Tammy have been negative so far. Police are asking the public’s help to find her.

Tammy is described as:

  • First Nations female
  • 163 cm (5’4)
  • 48 kg (105 lbs)
  • Brown eyes
  • Long black hair

Tammy may use the last name Quaw and has connections in the Vanderhoof area, although she does not have a vehicle.

Douglass did add that there aren’t any indications of foul play.
