Gauthier stops 43 of 44 shots but the Cougars come up empty

The Prince George Cougars have hit the 20-game mark and are averaging less than two goals per game (39 total).

Matthew Seminoff scored the game’s only goal 38-seconds into the third period.

Seminoff tally was from near the goal-line on the right-wing, as he found space between the post and Gauthier.

The Cougars best chance to get on the scoresheet was in the first period but Ethan Browne was stopped by Ramsay on a penalty-shot.

The (14-6) Blazers move six points ahead of the second-place Vancouver Giants in the BC Division.

The (4-14-0-2) Cougars play the (10-8-1-1) Giants tonight in Langley.
