Houston homicide suspect arrested by police

A man wanted in connection to a homicide in Houston is now in police custody.

William Griffin was located and arrested without incident on Friday in Terrace.

Griffin has been charged with second degree murder in relation to the death of Elija Dumont, which occurred on November 10th.

Police believe the two men were known to each other and this was an isolated incident.

Griffin is remanded in custody and will appear in court on Tuesday in Smithers.

The RCMP’s Major Crime Section continues to investigate this incident.
