RCMP hunt for suspects after Blackburn B&E

Prince George RCMP are searching for multiple suspects after a break and enter on Blackburn Rd..

Around 8:36 Monday morning, police were called to the residence on the eastern edge of the city.

RCMP Cpl. Craig Douglass released this statement:

“It is believed that approximately six masked suspects assaulted an adult male resident of the home. The victim was able to defend himself, injuring at least two of his attackers. Two suspects, one male and one female, were arrested at the scene and transported to the University Hospital of Northern BC for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The remaining suspects fled the scene in a stolen Ford F-150 pick-up truck. The victim was treated at the scene by the BC Ambulance Service and released.”

Police say multiple suspects fled the scene, their truck was later recovered near Norwood Ave. & Oak St..

There’s no description of the suspects yet, though their truck is a grey 2010 Ford F-150 with a licence EH1024.

Police believe a rifle may be among the items stolen and that the house was targeted.

They also warn that the suspects could be dangerous and should not be approached and warn those with information to contact the Prince George detachment immediately.
