RCMP cruiser involved in weekend collision in PG

A two-vehicle crash involving a marked police car is under investigation by the Prince George RCMP.

It happened just after 10:20 AM on Saturday on Massey Drive near the Highway 97 ramp.

According to police, both drivers were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Both were discharged a short time later.

A portion of the road was closed while investigators gathered evidence.

Prince George Fire Rescue and the RCMP are on the scene of a structure fire along First Avenue. Mounties have closed a large portion of First Avenue as crews battle the blaze.
