Westcana Electric in Prince George won the Community Champion and Contractor of the Year Awards that were handed out at the Builders Code Champion ceremony in Victoria.

In order to recognized as a Builders Code Champion, individuals and organizations must demonstrate their commitment to leadership and action by retaining and advancing women in their company.

The event was hosted by the BC Construction Association.
