Local women’s snowboarders impress after world cup qualification round

Prince George athletes are turning heads for Team Canada at the Snowboard Cross World Cup in Montafon, Austria.

24-year old Tess Critchlow leads the Canadian women in the 14th spot, and Meryeta O’Dine is in 17th out of 29.

On the men’s side, Evan Bichon and Colby Graham are 44th and 59th respectively, out of 66 athletes.

The 4-day competition wraps up tomorrow(Friday).
