The latest sponsor with the Canada Winter Games is recognizing the volunteers.
Chemtrade has signed on to sponsor the volunteer appreciation event for the games.
Games spokeswoman Alyson Gourley-Cramer says while they’ll be recognizing all volunteers, they’re also specifically thanking the “planning volunteers”.
Gourley-Cramer says they have over 35 hundred volunteers now, and their goal is 45 hundred.
She says they hope to reach their goal by October.
