Fewer than 8 hours of daylight for the solstice in PG.

December 21^st marks the first official day of winter, as well as the winter solstice.

“Prince George will see sun from 8:27 until 15:51,” according to Environment Canada Meteorologist Eric Mak.

Mak specified that the 7-hour-and-24-minute day should be the shortest of the year and that residents will soon be seeing longer daylight hours.
