One lane closed south of Prince George following incident on Highway 97

DriveBC is reporting traffic has slowed along Highway 97 between Prince George and Quesnel following what is being described as a “vehicle incident”.

A 3.6 kilometre stretch of the highway between Pollard Road and Umiti Pit Road, 106 kilometres south of Prince George, is affected.

The incident occurred after DriveBC issued a weather condition alert for Highway 97, citing poor visibility, slippery sections, and compact snow.
