Fort St. John RCMP received a report of a home invasion with shots fired at 4:20 this morning (Thursday)
Officers and Police Dog Services located a man with gunshot wounds, who was transported out of province for medical attention and is in stable condition.
RCMP conducted neighbourhood enquiries, and are following up on numerous leads according to an official statement.
Police believe it was a targeted shooting, and there is no substantial threat to public safety.
