Up to 10 centimetres expected ahead of Prince George snowfall warning

Prince George residents may want to prepare for a snowy leap day, as Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the region as of 2:30 P.M. today (Friday).

5 to 10 centimetres of snow is anticipated overnight, with temperatures tomorrow (Saturday) expected to stay between a low of -7 and a high of 1 degree.

20 kilometre per hour wind is also expected.

“Most of the snow will come during the overnight period and taper off tomorrow. We’ll have another quick shot of snow on Sunday, but it’s not major compared to this system,” said Meteorologist Bobby Sekhon.

Up-to-date information is available from Environment Canada.
