Prince George closed several Civic Facilities today (Monday) following the recommendation by the Provincial Health Officer to cancel all gatherings of greater than 50 people.
The CN Centre, Rolling Mix Concrete Arena, Elksentre, and the Kin Centres, as well as both the PG Aquatic Centre and the Four Seasons Leisure Pool, will be shuttered.
Additionally, the PG Conference and Civic Centre will also be closed.
These buildings were closed as of 5 pm today (Monday) and will be closed until further notice.
In addition, Tourism Prince George is announcing the Visitor Information Centre on First Avenue is closed and will be re-evaluated on March 30.
The City is also activating its Emergency Operations Centre in order to manage the ongoing delivery of civic operations and services.
