Front counter access at PG RCMP suspended to public

The Prince George RCMP Detachment will be closing front counter access to the public until April 15 as of 5 pm today (Monday).

The date will be re-evaluated on a daily basis, according to Cpl. Craig Douglass.

Non-essential services, such as fingerprinting and police information checks, at the detachment, will be suspended.

The phones in the vestibules will be available if they are needed.

“These actions are being taken in an effort to limit public contact with our staff due to the COVID-19 crisis, Our police officers will continue to respond to calls for service as usual,” said Douglass.
