PG RCMP arrest brothers following suspicious persons call

Two men (that are brothers) have been arrested by the RCMP after they were checking for unlocked vehicles along Commercial Crescent.

According to police, the incident occurred just after 5 AM yesterday morning (Wednesday) when both men tried to flee but were arrested with the assistance of the Dog Service Team.

One of the suspects had an outstanding arrest warrant.

The BC Prosecution Service has approved the following charges for 33-year-old Christopher Eugene McBride of Maple Ridge and Victoria

·         Resist arrest

·         Possession of break-in instruments

·         Breach of release order

·         Fail to comply with probation

40-year-old William Gerald McBride of PG  is also facing a number of charges.

·         Resist arrest

·         Possession of break-in instruments

·         Breach of release order

Both were remanded in custody until they appear in court next month.
