Canfor donates personal protective equipment to Northern Health

Canfor’s three Prince George pulp mills have made a donation to Northern Health.

The donation comes amidst national concerns about the availability of personal protective equipment (PPE) during the COVID-19 pandemic

“Since Northwood Pulp Mill’s turnaround is delayed, we had some additional inventory across our mills and provided Northern Health with supplies such as N-95 masks, respirator valves, coveralls, eye protection and different types of gloves,” said Michelle Ward, Canfor’s Director of Corporate Communications.

Canfor announced curtailments related to the virus late last month.
