One dead after single-vehicle rollover on Blackwater Road

RCMP have provided more details following yesterday’s (Thursday) report of a single-vehicle collision on Blackwater Road, near East Beaverly Road.

The single-vehicle rollover led to the vehicle’s only occupant, a 19-year-old woman, being discovered dead.

Police responded to the collision at around 11:45 A.M.

A portion of Blackwater Road, about six kilometres south of Highway 16, was closed in both directions for a number of hours while investigators gathered evidence.

The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
