A Special Enforcement Unit from Prince George is aiding police in Dawson Creek in their investigation to a shooting.

Police believe the Friday shooting of a 26 year old man is also gang related.

The man was found at the entrance way into the local hospital, suffering from multiple gun shot wounds.

He had been abducted earlier that night and taken to a rural area where he was shot.

The man survived and crawled to the road where he was picked up by a passing vehicle and taken to hospital.
