Vanderhoof RCMP searching for teen’s stolen dirt bike

Vanderhoof RCMP are asking the public for help tracking down a stolen dirt bike.

Sometime overnight on March 28/29, a 1997 Honda CR 250 was taken from a home in Saik’uz First Nation, near Vanderhoof. It was last seen at about 8pm on the 28th.

The bike’s 15 year old owner received it as a birthday gift only three months previously.

It has black coloured parts with an aluminium frame with an approximated value of $3000.

The North District RCMP says they believe the bike may have already been sold in the Prince George area.

If you have any information regarding the possible theft, please contact Crime Stoppers or the Vanderhoof RCMP Detachment.
