One man has been arrested following an incident with a firearm in the Salmon Valley area.
Around 8:00 yesterday (Tuesday) morning, officers including a police dog service team attended the scene, before calling for assistance from the North District RCMP’s Emergency Response Team and Air Services Section.
The investigation led to the arrest of a 50-year-old male resident of the area.
Officers say the two men involved were known to each other, and no shots were fired.
The suspect remains in police custody, however, charges are yet to be laid.
