McBride’s Mountain View Road partially open to residents

It’s good news for those who travel through McBride.

Mountain View Road, located approximately eight kilometres north of McBride, will now be open for two-hour periods twice daily, starting tomorrow (Saturday).

The first period will be from 6:30 A.M. to 8:30 A.M., while the second will be between 6:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M.

However, opening and closing times are subject to change based on road safety and creek conditions.

Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure staff will escort vehicles to ensure safe travel, and residents can expect delays of up to 30 minutes.
