Mr. PG sporting a “Support PG” flag

Prince George’s mascot is showing support for local businesses.

Mr. PG, located at the intersection of Highways 16 and 97, is representing “Support PG” – a collaborative project between 11 community organizations and partners.

Support PG was initially launched as a resource to collect and display local businesses’ COVID-19 responses and other relevant information.

To celebrate the occasion, 20 prize packs have been assembled with help from partner organizations and local businesses.

These prizes will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis at five local businesses.

Each business is also offering a discount for anyone who mentions “Support PG”.

The five participating local businesses are:

  • Darling Deviance Wool Shop & Gifts (6549 John Hart Hwy)
  • Madras Maple CafĂ© (1535 Ogilvie St S)
  • Northern Lights Estate Winery (745 Prince George Pulpmill Rd)
  • Smokey J’s – (7100 Domano Blvd)
  • Sound Factory (1621 Nicholson St S)

More information on the Support PG initiative can be found online.
