The 2015 Canada Winter Games have officially come to a close.
Governor General David Johnston made the official announcement to well over a thousand people at the ceremonies at UNBC.
“Congratulations to all of the volunteers, organizers and supporters, a job superbly done, God bless you.”
Team BC Hockey Athlete Lucas Cullen says this was a once in a lifetime experience.
“Pretty much everyone here has been so welcoming and friendly,” says Cullen, “and it just makes your experience so much better.”
New Brunswick Squash Coach Jan Pridditis says he’s been left with a great impression of the city.
“I could move here in a minute, I could live here, a great impression.”
The next Canada Games will be held in Winnipeg in the summer of 2017.
