A 35-year-old man has been charged with murder after a missing person case in Fort St John turned into a homicide.
On July 10th, 38-year-old Sarah Foord was reported missing to police.
While the Major Crimes Unit did not rule out foul play during its investigation, their search resulted in the recovery of human remains just north of Fort St John on Friday.
The BC Coroners Service and family confirmed the remains found were Foord’s.
John Wendall Keyler was arrested without incident and will appear in court tomorrow (Tuesday).
