Environment Canada ended the severe thunderstorm warning for Prince George tonight (Sunday) at 9:15.

Prince George residents are encouraged to take cover this afternoon, as severe thunderstorms are expected for the area.
Environment Canada says there is a possibility of strong wind, hail, and heavy rain later this afternoon and evening.
Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when atmospheric conditions are favorable for the development of thunderstorms that could produce one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall.
