Prince George Transit making changes to meet service demand

A service change is coming to the Prince George Transit System.

BC Transit and City of Prince George have announced that starting September 8th, the service change will reintroduce service on routes 12 Parkridge, 96 Kelly, and 97 Kelly for K-12 students.

The service change will not include the reinstatement of the 17 UNBC and 18 Spruceland, due to post-secondary schools moving to an online format

Additional trips on the 15 UNBC/Downtown and the 3:47 p.m. trip leaving Spruceland on route 55 Victoria will also not be reinstated this year.

In addition to the service changes, BC Transit in PG will also be handing out face coverings as masks will be required on all buses starting Monday unless you meet the exclusion criteria.
