Dream Big for Hospice Day sees over 1000 tickets sold

The second annual Dream Big for Hospice Day saw a total of 1051 dream home tickets yesterday (August 19).

Organizers are calling it a big success and there are already plans in the works for next year.

“It was incredible, we came into this doing it different than the year before, ” said Sandra Klimm, with the PG Hospice Society.

She says it was a little strange to lose the ‘community feeling’ of everyone being together in the same room to buy the tickets, but is happy with results.

Team Sampson took the title with 238 tickets sold, Team Hell Yeah sold 143 tickets and Team 100 heroes took third with 131 tickets sold.

Prince George resident Brenda Drazenovic took the 50/50 jackpot of $500 dollars and the staycation goes to Stephen and Tammy McNeil.
