Environment Canada has ended the severe thunderstorm warning for Prince George that was issued earlier this evening (Thursday).

Prince George residents are encouraged to take cover this evening as a severe thunderstorm warning is in effect.
The alert was issued at approximately 5:30 pm according to Environment Canada.
‘Radar indicates a strong thunderstorm, 30 km northwest of Prince George, 5 km west of Nukko Lake, moving north by northeast at 30 km/h is producing nickel size hail,; the warning reads.
