Theatre NorthWest plans shortened 2020-21 season

A shortened season for Theatre NorthWest is on its way.

According to organizers, the theatre is preparing for a truncated 2020-21 season.

“The first thing I want to state is how important the health of our community, artists, volunteers, and staff is to all of us at Theatre NorthWest,” said Marnie Hamagami, Executive Director at Theatre NorthWest.

Under normal circumstances, Theatre NorthWest produces a season of 4 productions.

However, taking Covid-19 into consideration, the organization is planning to produce two shows in the late spring of 2021.

“Originally, we had planned to close the season with ‘Mom’s the Word’ a comedy about early- motherhood. But now, we are planning to open with this side-splitting comedy. We plan to open the show on April 16, 2021.”

They are following that production with ‘The Marvelous Wonderettes’, a musical about a 1950’s song team with music from that era.
