Connaught Hill cleanup on the way, says fireworks company

Visitors to Connaught Hill Park this week have probably noticed a significant mess left behind by the 17 days of Canada Winter Games Fireworks.

After multiple complaints to the MyPGnow newsroom we got in touch with the Prince George company behind the fireworks; Starlight FX.

“The Park is still closed; we have every intention of cleaning up and the people that have been working on it have regular jobs.” Manager of Starlight FX Vicki said “There is also only so much we can do with what has melted and refrozen. But we will have a crew going up there this weekend to do a cleanup.”

Connaught Hill Park is closed for the winter to vehicle traffic but remains open to pedestrians.
