Extra! Extra! City publishes first ever edition of community e-newsletter

The city of Prince George released its first edition of the brand new Community Recreation E-newsletter.

Subscribers will receive a list of activities, clubs, and organizations available to people of all ages.

A new edition will be published at least three times a year, with a new volume every fall, winter and spring/summer season, replacing the annual in-person Fall Active Living Market.

“There is also an opportunity to add special issues tailored for specific audiences, seasonal events, or emerging program opportunities,” explained Senior Communications Officer for City of PG, Michael Kellett.

The city also launched its new online Community Recreation Directory, which will be replacing the Community Clubs and Organizations listing.

It features a searchable database organized by recreation activity and non-profits in PG, which will also have a short overview of each organization’s offerings.
