Fallfest 2020 adapts to pandemic

Prince George’s second annual Fallfest event will be taking place every Saturday until October 10th to adhere to social distancing guidelines.

“The Downtown Fallfest month-long celebration brings another opportunity to support our great downtown businesses,”  said Colleen Van Mook, Executive Director.

Fallfest starts at 8 am on Saturday(19th) with a pancake breakfast at the Royal Canadian Legion.

There will be local produce and product vendors at the Market Place on 2nd Avenue, as well as at Wilson Square and the PG Farmer’s Market.

She explained the importance of supporting small businesses in Prince George.

“We know now more than ever that supporting local can keep our economy alive and ensure that our businesses will be here to enjoy once the pandemic is over.”

Tickets to Fallfest are available on the Downtown PG website.

“Downtown is still open for business despite Covid, and fall is going to be a really great time to come downtown and shop and eat at restaurants.”
