Still no deal between UNBC and its faculty association. The University on its website says that both sides met Friday morning. The day ended with no deal and no future meeting dates scheduled.
The university says “compensation remains the primary outstanding issue. The University maintains that it has offered a compensation package that it can afford to deliver, is within the provincial government’s Economic Stability Mandate, and begins to address the compensation gap identified by faculty.”
The faculty association has been on the picket lines since Thursday.
