NHL:

–The Tampa Bay Lightning are a win away from capturing the Stanley Cup. Kevin Shattenkirk scored on a power- play at 6:34 of overtime to give the Lightning a 5-4 victory over the Dallas Stars. Tampa leads the series 3-1 with Game 5 tonight (just after 5:00 PT) at Rogers Place in Edmonton. If a 6th game is needed, it would be played on Monday. Teams that take a 3-1 lead in the Stanley Cup Final have won the Cup 33 of 34 times since the best-of-seven format began in 1939.

NBA:

–The Boston Celtics scored 41 points in the 3rd quarter and they went on to a 121-108 triumph over the Miami Heat. Miami still leads the NBA Eastern Conference finals 3-2 with Game 6 Sunday night (4:30 PT).

–The NBA West finals continue this evening (6:00) with the LA Lakers against the Denver Nuggets. The Lakers enjoy a 3-1 series lead.

MLB:

–The playoff-bound Toronto Blue Jays outscored the Baltimore Orioles 10-5. The same two teams also play today (3:37 PM PT) and Sunday (12:07 PM) in Buffalo to conclude the regular season. Playoffs begin Tuesday with the first-round a best-of-3 series. The (31-27) Jays are 3rd in the AL East, a game behind the NY Yankees.

NFL:

–There are 14 Sunday games in the NFL including (1-1) Dallas at (2-0) Seattle with a 1:25 kickoff.
