A Williams Lake man has been charged with first-degree murder in connection to an incident in Winnipeg.
On September 7th, detectives from the Winnipeg Police Homicide Unit, along with the Williams Lake RCMP, arrested a suspect in relation to the death of 31-year-old Cody Sleigh.
32-year-old Kleon Pop was taken into custody and returned to the Manitoba capital.
On July 21st, Winnipeg Police responded to a shooting where the victim was suffering from gunshot wounds and was transported to the hospital where he was in critical condition at the time.
Sleigh succumbed to his injuries two days later.

In addition, a 19-year-old man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for first-degree murder is believed to be in BC.
Dyllan Petrin is also a suspect in the same case.
He is described as 5’5″, medium build, with short dark hair.
Petrin has a tattoo on his right forearm and a tattoo of Chinese characters on his neck’s left side.
He is considered armed and dangerous and is not to be approached.
BC residents who may have information regarding Petrin are asked to call their local police service.
