Police discover stolen property after search at well-known residence

Five people have been arrested by the Prince George RCMP after a search warrant led them to weapons and explosives.

Yesterday (Thursday), police obtained a warrant on Boyd Street near First Avenue and Ospika, the same home where Colin Durrand was found on Monday.

Four men and one woman were located inside while a stolen vehicle was found in the driveway.

In addition, the RCMP seized a prohibited weapon, gun parts, and a quantity of fentanyl.

Two small homemade explosives were uncovered by police and eventually destroyed.

The occupants of the home were released pending further assessment.

The investigation is on-going.
