NHL:

–The WHL had 28 players selected in the 2020 NHL Draft, but none were from the Prince George Cougars. Three current BCHL players were picked, however, the PG Spruce Kings were shutout.

–Two-time Stanley Cup champion Matt Murray is on the move. The Ottawa Senators acquired the 26-year-old goalie from the Pittsburgh Penguins for a second round draft pick and prospect forward Jonathan Gruden.

NBA:

–The NBA Finals continue with Game 5 Friday night just after 6:00 (PT) in Orlando. The LA Lakers, who are one win away from capturing their 17th title, lead the Miami Heat 3-1.
