Food Network star, Bob Blumer is returning to PG for an ‘in-home-cook-along’ fundraiser for the PG Hospice Society.

Ticket holders will have Blumer zooming into attendee’s kitchens to prep two recipes from his new cookbook, they will receive a box of ingredients from Birch & Boar to prepare the recipes.

“Fundraising for non-profits has been exceptionally challenging this year, and this evening will prove to be delicious and fun for all those involved!” exclaimed Donna Flood, Executive Director of the Hospice Society.

Each box will also contain a copy of Blumer’s new cookbook and multiple recipes representing a number of participating local restaurants like Twisted Cork, Nancy O’s and Betulla Burning.

He will also be celebrating a number of local restaurants during the event, each one has been a past competitor in local ‘Chef vs. Chef’ challenges he hosted throughout his years visiting Prince George.

Local chef and two-time past winner of Chef vs. Chef challenges, Jagdish Gill from  Karahi King is mentioned directly in the new cookbook as part of the recipe, “Chai Chickpeas”.

“We’re thrilled to work with UNLTD Media on this creative and interactive event,” added Flood.

The event will launch virtually on October 25th, just two days before his latest cookbook is released.

Tickets are $100, all proceeds go directly to the PG Hospice Society and are available through Theatre Northwest.
