What to expect when voting in Prince George (Advance Polls open today)

The upcoming election is quickly approaching and you may be wondering where and how to vote; so here is a complete list of the different ways to vote this year!

Election night is October 24th and depending on what constituency you reside in, the time and place to cast your ballot will differ.

Here is a list of items Elections BC is recommending you bring:

  • A valid ID that shows your name and address
  • ‘Where to Vote’ card, look for it in the mail from Elections BC before advance voting starts. (Bringing it with you to the voting place will make voting faster.)
  • Your own pen or pencil
  • A Mask

To vote by mail, you must either request a vote-by-mail package online or call Elections BC at 1-800-661-8683.

However, the mail-in ballot must be received by Elections BC before 8 pm on October 24th and Elections BC is recommending to apply for the package before October 17th.
