Upper Fraser Road single vehicle collision claims life of 67 year old man

A motor-vehicle incident has left one man dead following a collision on the 6200 block of Upper Fraser Road last night (Wednesday) around 8 pm.

Emergency crews responded to a report of a rolled-over  SUV in the ditch East of Prince George, where they found him dead on the scene.

Evidence and witness statements have led investigators to conclude that the driver was travelling very fast when he failed to negotiate a curve in the road.

The driver was the only occupant of the vehicle and was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision.

The BC Coroners Service attended the scene and are now conducting a parallel fact-finding investigation to confirm the cause of death.
