Winning 50/50 ticket claimed

The Prince George Cougars have announced the winner of Saturday’s massive 50/50 draw.

Anthony Santos has claimed the record jackpot of $33,533. Santos purchased his ticket in the
first period of the game that was won by the Victoria Royals 4-3 in a shootout.

The other half goes to the Shelly Mrkonjic ALS Research Fund.

Shelly, the mother of Cougars forward Tyler Mrkonjic, died of ALS in 2006.
