The icy conditions in Prince George have led the Masich Place Stadium to be closed for the weekend to prevent damage to the outdoor track.
In addition, the public washrooms in Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park and Duchess Park are closed, but they could be reopening as early as Monday.
Signs have been posted at each location but an updated Masich Place Schedule is available on the City’s website.
Other available walking routes can also be found on the website, however, the CN Centre’s indoor walking program will reopen on October 5th.
Residents can now book a 90-minute walking session at the CN Centre online.
The CN Centre is re-opening for limited indoor walking on Monday, October 19. Advance registration for indoor walking at the CN Centre starts today.
