There seems to be an end to the Village of McBride union saga.
The Christian Labour Association of Canada and the village have reached an agreement when it comes to the firing of one of the town workers.
The village workers have also voted to join the CLAC union.
Government Relations and Membership Development Director Ryan Bruce says they hope to now move forward.
“We want to work with the employees now that were certified and the village,” says Bruce, “and work towards a positive relationship that’s what the settlement does from our perspective.”
Bruce says the fired worker, John Aitken, has since left his position as foreman with the village.
