BCHL:

–The Prince George Spruce Kings host the Merritt Centennials this afternoon (Sunday) at 3:00 in BCHL pre-season action. The two teams played an exhibition game Friday night in Merritt, won by the Spruce Kings 6-2.

MLB:

–The Tampa Bay Rays scored two runs in the bottom of the 9th to beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 8-7. Brett Phillips tied the game with a two-out single in the final inning and a Dodger error led to the winning run. The World Series is tied 2-2 with Game 5 tonight starting just after 5:00 PT in Arlington, Texas.

NFL: 

–There are a dozen Sunday games in the NFL including the Seattle Seahawks at the Arizona Cardinals (5:20 PT).

School District 57 saw a slight drop when it came to its student enrollment, according to its preliminary enrollment report.

Part of Carney Street to be closed Thursday

Strike notice issued for Regional District employees

More public employees in the Prince George area could be striking soon. As of noon today (Wednesday), CUPE 1699, representing employees of the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George has issued 72-hour strike notice.

PG RCMP on the lookout for 45-year-old wanted man

The Prince George RCMP is asking for the public's help in finding 45-year-old Micheal John Fulton.
