Winter storm warning continues for Prince George, Pine Pass

More snow is predicted for Prince George today (Sunday) and tomorrow.

Environment Canada expects hazardous winter conditions for the northern region, as a winter storm warning has been issued.

Residents can prepare for between 15- 25 cm of snow in the next 24 hours, attributed to a frontal system moving across the northern Gulf of Alaska.

Snow will begin this morning from Teslin to Dease Lake and reach Watson Lake to Prince George by early this evening.

The flurries will likely ease by mid-Monday.

This also means a winter storm warning is in effect for Highway 97 and the Pine Pass.

Road users are encouraged to monitor DriveBC.
